DIY paraffin treatment with lotion is a trick I learned in beauty school (or nail school) We got on the section of add-on services/treatments for healthy skin and nails and while the class was learning about paraffin treatments and taking turns dipping our nails and feet in the paraffin machine the teacher drops a tip on us “You can get the same result with a plastic bag and lotion” WHAT! You telling me my ashy foot will come out soft as a babies butt with lotion, plastic bags, and some cozy socks! She was right and here is how you do it. (I know it’s self-explanatory but it’s just fun to see it in pictures…right)
The funnest part is dumping loads of lotion of your feet don’t be shy with this part it will help to get your feet (or hands) softer when the plastic bags come off)
After you have slathered all that good lotion on your feet it’s time to cover each one up with a plastic bag (I had more than enough saved from grocery shopping) Now take your comfy cozy socks and put them on over the plastic bags and just relax. I did my DIY paraffin treatment at 2:35pm and walked around the house, got on the internet, ran my mouth and then took everything off at 6:05pm and my feet felt AMAZING! They were incredibly ashy so I was grateful for this treatment and how quick and cheap it is. Who said beauty treatments had to break your bank. Feel free to do this DIY on your hands in addition.
(Note: I kept the DIY Paraffin treatment going for over 3 hours you can easily do this for about an hour and have good results also.)
