I have seen a lot of documentaries but these two documentaries really pushed me over the edge when it came to making a permanent decision to go Plant-Based/ Vegan with my diet. The first documentary I saw was Forks over Knives which I found on a complete accident, I was looking at a video for aromatherapy and a guy mentioned it in the interview and being the detective I’am… I went to look it up and I was so impressed with the trailer that I bought the movie online on You Tube ($4.99). I was so impressed at the stats and data they had displayed numbers I’ve never seen before. Forks Over Knives was made in 2011 so it was even more scary to think about what’s going on today in 2017.
I’m not going to lie I was still thinking “I could have an egg and some cheese every now and then” but then here comes the next documentary What The Health this documentary was newer (released in 2017) I had also heard about this one by word of mouth. This documentary took an entirely different route and was shocking after the results of the research were revealed and matched up perfectly with the Forks Over Knives documentary. After watching this documentary it was like the nail in the coffin, the information went together so well and you really get the big picture that this is not just another trendy diet fad this is a way to save your life and rid yourself of senseless disease. I have had some minor problems myself that I have been relieved of and I’ve only been practicing a plant based diet for about (23) days straight as of 11/24/2017
-No mucus in the back of my throat
-Wake up Earlier
-More excited about making meals
I’ve also incorporated exercise and more water to my daily routine.
I made it mandatory to make a post about Forks Over Knives and What The Health because they are not advertised anywhere, Both I had to find through word of mouth from You Tube videos and other people so this is my way of passing on very valuable information for the health of everyone reading in hopes these documentaries will continue to be shared and make everyone aware of what’s going on in the food industry. My hope is that people find out about these movies and pass them on to family and friends so that everybody has the CHOICE to either continue to eat what is being artificially produced or change your diet and lifestyle for the better and go Plant Based/Vegan.
If your on the fence and don’t know how to cook plant based/ vegan I have this book from Forks over Knives that has 300 recipes in it and I don’t have any problems eating without dairy or meat it has become more easy and less expensive.
