In Georgia the winter weather has hit and it’s time to break out the essentials for comfortable apartment living in these cold winter months ahead. I already had a electric radiator space heater I bought online from the previous year. I’m not a big fan of it because it doesn’t blow heat. I wanted to get two more to make sure whatever room I was in I would have a heat source.
The first one I got was a Ceramic Element space heater it was a taller model. I was familiar with this model of heater from a previous apartment I lived in. It goes up to 85 degrees and has a timer on it. That one was around $59.00 (plus tax of course)
Then I a got a smaller space heater for my bedroom its table top Lasko model. I sit this one a couple feet away from my bed. It’s perfect to warm up my bedroom quickly at in the evening. I don’t like leaving appliances on at night while I sleep so I time this one for about an hour . When I get in bed and it’s usually shut off by the time I fall asleep. That space heater was about $39.00
I’m very impressed with both. I have no idea what my electric bill is going to look like but hopefully it’s not to bad.
In my apartment I have carpet in some rooms and fake hardwood throughout the rest (I swear my floor is laminate) the parts with no carpet can get pretty cold so on top of having on socks I bought some super cute Unicorn slippers! They keep my feet so warm which in turn makes me feel more comfortable when it’s extremely cold. They were only $10
The last thing I purchased was a nice soft velvet plush throw blanket from Better Homes and Gardens. There’s always a Netflix and chill night that I’m looking for a cover. So now I have a ultra soft blanket to keep me snug while I watch corny movies and fall asleep. That too was only $10
So I spent $118.00 on some winter items from Wal Mart. I hope it all keeps me warm for years to come. I don’t celebrate holidays so I decided to invest in keeping myself warm and cozy for the season. Thank you for stopping by have a great one!
