I used to do a video on You Tube called “What I ate today” but I find it easier to take pictures of the food I eat instead of having to get video footage. So this is my first what I ate today blog post. I don’t eat much so it’s kinda hard to make a video when there wasn’t much food consumed. But it is a good way to watch what you are putting in your body through out the day and to be able to actually see it is a good tracking tool for a specific eating plan.
For breakfast/lunch (I woke up extremely late) I had seasoned avocado toast on wheat bread with a double cup of green tea (I call it a double because I put two bags in the tea cup. I swear I’m fancy when I do this. Very easy light and of course falls in the vegetarian and vegan category. Great for a lazy cook like myself.
Next I had two Halo oranges/tangerines they are really small so its like you have to eat two or three for a snack unless your a child. They were really good and to my surprise very juicy. I try to keep these on hand in the fridge.
My Dinner was a loaded Pita Pizza it had cheese, spinach, tomatoes, onion and yes there was a small amount of pepperoni. I’m not a person who won’t eat the food because it has a little bit of meat on it. I feel like it it’s such a small portion it won’t hurt my diet or stomach. ( I’m not going to lie I ate two of these they were so delicious and the pita makes a very tasty crunchy crust it’s better than any Atlanta Pizza parlor I’ve ever been to)
I don’t eat a lot through out the day due to what I do in the morning. As soon as I get up I take a probiotic capsule, a vitamin d capsule and two gummy vitamins and I drink water and tea the entire day. I think this is the reason I do not consume or crave a lot of food. The liquids alone keep my stomach filled and by the time I eat I don’t want much food. So my little trick is to keep water with you from the time you wake till the time you sleep. Even if it’s a cup or a small bottle it really helps with dehydration, having healthy skin and feeling full.
